Matthew Easterday
Live production, podcasts, and business automation. Mostly remote.
I work live production. On a REMI sports broadcast that can mean mixing audio, switching video, running graphics, or TD'ing, depending on what the show needs; that work has aired on ESPN, Golf Channel, DAZN, and Peacock. Podcasts are the same job at a smaller scale. I run remote sessions on Riverside or Zoom and handle the tech so the hosts can focus on the conversation. The third thing is automation: I wire up the systems behind a business so the blog and the newsletter go out on time, every time, without anyone babysitting them.
I've been doing this for 15 years. US-based, mostly remote, and I travel when a show needs me in the room.
Three Lines of Work
Live Production & REMI Broadcast
Audio, video, and lighting for live shows and live streams. Lately, mostly REMI sports, run from a control room far from the venue.
Podcast Production
Remote sessions on Riverside or Zoom. I set up the session, check everyone's audio, record, and handle the edit.
Business Process Automation
The blog, the newsletter, the weekly publishing chores. If it repeats, it can probably run itself; I build that, using the tools you already have.
Networks & Platforms
The networks are from REMI sports broadcasts, where I work as a broadcast engineer, TD, A1/A2, video, and graphics operator. The platforms are where the podcasts and virtual events happen.

Have an event coming up, or a process you want automated? I'd love to hear about it.
